Gaming Standards Association to be Presenting Sponsor at Gaming Technology Summit

Gaming Technology Summit, the gaming industry’s leading technology conference, will be highlighted by the participation of the Gaming Standards Association, which returns as presenting sponsor. The Summit, which has become the favored venue for industry professionals to discuss real-world technology challenges and solutions, is set for its ninth annual renewal at Green Valley Ranch.

GSA will present two days of seminars; two seminars on May 23 and four seminars on May 24, all of which are open to all Gaming Technology Summit attendees.

An international trade association that creates benefits for gaming manufacturers, suppliers, operators, and regulators, GSA has close to 60 members worldwide. The organization’s open standards are the foundation for gaming device and system interoperability, which is driving transformative technological change across the entire video game industry.

“GSA is excited to return to Gaming Technology Summit, one of the most respected and well-attended technology events in the gaming industry,” said GSA president Peter DeRaedt. “Our members were very pleased with the results of last year’s event. The Gaming Technology Summit is an important part of our efforts to mobilize the industry to leverage GSA protocols, which have a proven ability to promote unparalleled game innovation, link all systems across the entire operation and produce a more rewarding entertainment experience for players.”

The GSA seminars on May 23 will start with a morning session on the latest trends and technologies in video game systems and products driven by GSA standards with real-world examples highlighted. The afternoon segment will feature a roundtable discussion of a cross-section of gaming technology leaders on the opportunities and challenges of new technology implementation and developing best practices. All Summit attendees are invited to attend both informative and thought-provoking sessions.
