Gaming Technology Summit Features Top Keynote Speakers

LAS VEGAS (April 2, 2009) – Three technology experts will provide keynote presentations at the seventh annual Gaming Technology Summit, May 19-21, 2009, at Green Valley Ranch here. The Summit has quickly become the favored venue for industry professionals to discuss real-world technology challenges and solutions for all segments of the gaming industry.

On Wednesday, May 20, Tim Stanley will provide the welcoming address and Greg Shay will provide the luncheon keynote; on Thursday, May 21, Ramesh Srinivasan will do the honors. “These three individuals are well-known as cutting-edge industry thinkers, and we are thrilled to have secured them as our keynote presenters,” said Saverio R. Scheri III, Managing Director at WhiteSand Consulting, co-producer of the Summit along with BNP Media.

Stanley is the President and Founder of Tekexecs, an executive advisory service and business innovation and technology consultancy. He has an impressive track record of leadership in applying innovation and technology to drive business results, and previously served as Chief Information Officer and Senior Vice President of Innovation, Gaming and Technology for Harrah’s Entertainment.

As Chief Executive Officer and President of VCAT LLC, Shay brings to the table almost 30 years of experience directing all operations for some of the world’s finest hotels and casinos. He led the commercial launch and business development of the award-winning Mariposa Software division for Venture Catalyst Inc. prior to its merger with International Game Technology in late 2006.

Srinivasan is Executive Vice President of Systems for Bally Technologies, responsible for casino management system sales, product management, product development, client services, and customer support of the company’s application software products. He has successfully implemented product improvements that have raised customer satisfaction and propelled Bally’s Systems division to record revenues.

The three keynote speakers lead an impressive roster of some three dozen speakers already confirmed for the Summit, with more being added almost daily. They know that the Summit is the place to meet for technology solutions, and that this year’s event takes on special meaning as operators search for cost-effective ways to maintain revenues and market share in a challenging economic environment.
