New to the Gaming Technology Summit this year is the Resort Technology Forum – a workshop featuring professors from the Center for Hospitality Research at Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration, the world’s leading school for the hospitality industry. During the workshop the professors, along with directors from WhiteSand Consulting, will inform attendees about recent developments in hotel room technologies and what products will develop from future trends in the coming years.
With portable technologies saturating every part of the business traveler’s life, as well as spilling over into the leisure guest’s standard array of travel necessities, more and more hotel rooms are offering ways in which the guest’s own electronics can interact, interface, and interplay with the hotel’s own systems. From audio/visual and Internet to the property management system, hotel rooms of the future hold untold advances.
In addition to the prestigious speakers from Cornell, the workshop will feature cutting-edge hospitality products from the industry’s most innovative technology companies.
This workshop is sure to provide valuable knowledge and a glimpse of what the future holds for the gaming and hospitality industry.
The Resort Technology Forum will be held Tuesday, May 20, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The Resort Technology Forum is not included in the standard GTS conference registration. Check the registration page for more details.
