Harrah’s sponsors field trial of bonusing systems for table games
Harrah’s Entertainment, Inc. has signed on to sponsor the 90-day field trial for G3, a table games bonusing and side betting system developed by Quebec-based DEQ Systems Corp. Harrah’s will test G3 in a casino on the Las Vegas Strip, but the particular casino has not yet decided.

According to a DEQ press release, the G3 is a “state-of-the-art” system, featuring multiple side betting, player and dealer side betting and mystery bonus features. In addition to LCD-based graphics and the ability to run multimedia like publicity and entertainment, the G3 can be easily linked to existing table gamer and casino systems.

“We are very happy about this decision at Harrah’s,” said DEQ’s CEO Earl G. Hall. “Harrah’s Entertainment is recognized as an international leader in player bonusing and fidelity programs to reward their casino clients for their business. Having such a recognized leader take us on and sponsor our field trial is an honor and a privilege as well as a great vote of confidence in our bonusing and side betting system.”

DEQ recently submitted G3 to the Nevada Gaming Control Board for certification, with the sponsored trial being part of the process. The G3 system has already seen installation of more than 600 systems around the world. The company lists clients including PGIC, DEK International, Casino Gaming Concepts and TCS John Huxley.

“We are very impressed with the bonusing and multimedia capacities of the G3,” said Chris Block, corporate director of table games for Harrah’s Entertainment. “And we are excited to see it perform on the casino floor on The Strip.”
